End your Thursday with intention. The Kadampa Meditation Center’s Thursday evening drop-in class is one of Albuquerque’s most consistent wellness offerings — a guided 90-minute session that blends breathing techniques, concentration meditation, and teachings on how to cultivate lasting inner peace.

The evening format tends to draw people winding down from the work week — professionals, students, travelers, and longtime practitioners sitting side by side in a low-lit, welcoming room on Monroe Street.

No prior meditation experience is needed, and no commitment is required. You can come once or every week. Either way, you’ll likely leave wondering why you don’t do this more often.

Thursdays 6–7:30pm. Drop-in welcome. Small class fee at the door. The center also offers a free 20-minute guided meditation online for those who prefer to start at home.
